Announcements

  • Bàn quay xổ số trực tiếpGood afternoon. The CDC has issued new guidelines related to the holidays and holiday travel. Based on this information, and guidance from the City of St. Louis Health Department, we are revising our timeline for resuming in-person instruction for middle and high school students.

No additional middle or high school students will return to in-person instruction until after Winter Break.

At this time, there are no changes to the in-person instruction currently underway in elementary schools and our schools that serve populations with specific needs.

We understand this schedule change may disappoint some families that planned to send their students back on Monday or later this month. Please let them know that we were looking  forward to welcoming back our middle and high schoolers, however our decision is based on advice from medical experts and ongoing review of data.

We will provide an update as soon as one is available. Thank you.

New Vaccination Required! Before our 7th grade and 11th grade students start 8th and 12th grade (respectively) in 2017-2018, they must receive a vaccine against meningitis, an infection of the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

Students entering 8th grade must also receive the Tdap vaccine, so parents can get them done during the same visit to the doctor. If your student going into the 12th grade received the first meningitis immunization at age 16 or later, a second one will not be needed. Otherwise, two are required for 12th grade students. Please have this immunization done as soon as possible, and make sure your School Nurse receives a copy. Please contact your School Nurse or the Nurse Coordinator at 314-345-4401 for questions.

  • Food Stamp Update

An application is being developed to provide a meal-replacement benefit through SNAP under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020. DESE will share details as soon as they are available. Read more from USDA about the Pandemic EBT .

DESE has worked with the Department of Social Services (DSS) to update the DSS Family Support Division recording and the information being shared about P-EBT. This message previously instructed families to contact their local school district. However, this was incorrect information. The message has been revised to say the following: “This benefit is not yet available. You will be contacted to apply when applications are available.”

For questions, please direct families to call 855-FSD-INFO or 855-373-4636, M-F 6am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm.
